We are a small new Danish company dedicated to improving the daily lives of those with mobility issues through our innovative assistive devices.
Our primary focus is to offer high-quality products, such as our flexible hook (The Elephant) for crutches and walking sticks. Our ambition is to provide our users with more freedom, control, and daily security while ensuring high Scandinavian quality and minimizing the carbon footprint by producing locally.
It all began with frustration. And quite a few curse words.
When you use crutches every day – and live with conditions like Parkinson’s and arthritis – it quickly becomes a problem when your crutches tip over, slide away, or end up on the floor where you can’t reach them. It’s impractical. It feels humiliating. And it can be dangerous.
Every time a crutch falls, the risk of falling increases. And one fall can change everything.
My name is Johnny. I’m a craftsman at heart, an inventor by necessity, a father, grandfather, and former therapist. I refused to let crutches control my day. I wanted to find a solution that could bring back both freedom and dignity.
So I created Elefanten.
A small, simple aid – that makes a big difference.
But it didn’t become just my journey.
Together with my son, Niki, we developed and completed Elefanteninto what it is today. His energy, ideas, and technical skill have been invaluable. It became a family project – created with love, persistence, and an honest wish to help others.
Before arriving at the final version, many users helped test and try the product. Their feedback was essential in refining every detail. That’s why we at Go Or Stayconfidently say we’ve developed the best product in its category.
But we’re not stopping here.
We will continue to develop new solutions and assistive tools in close collaboration with users and professionals – always based on real needs and the desire to create quality products that make a difference in everyday life.
Elefantencan hang your crutches, pick them up from the floor, and hold them in place – so they’re always within reach. It reduces the risk of falling and makes life easier. And it’s made with thoughtfulness and a touch of humor – not as a cold aid, but as a practical companion.
